Meet The owner
Hello, I am Ms. Shawn Comage, the proud owner of Comage & Co. formally known as Beardz & Bowz, LLC. I was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois; however, I moved to Indianapolis, IN in July 2017. I am an educator, a business owner, a mother, and a grandmother. I have been sewing since I was eight years old, and I’ve always had an interest in fashion that was fun and unique. I often refer to my sewing room as my “studio” because it is where my creative juices flow, like a singer in her studio.
When I initially started Beardz And Bowz, LLC in 2018, my focus was on selling beard maintenance products and self tie bow ties, which is where the name originated. I soon became bored with this limited array of merchandise, so I decided to apply my expertise to other niches. Today, my brand has expanded from designing custom clothing to owning an online boutique, as well as teaching others the skill of sewing.
As of January 2022, we recently changed our name to Comage & Co. due to my Inspiration of wanting to take a more holistic approach. New and returning customers can expect a more inclusive experience when it comes to purchasing from me. An experience that will be sure to leave them impacted in several areas of their lives.
